Inserting Balls to Play “Cannon Ball”

The following pictures are from slides I took over 35 years ago when I was working at an institution and writing my book The Recycling Occupational Therapist. The first “cannonball” is made from a very large tube, tied to a wedge and then attached on top of a box. I placed it in the center of the circle so that clients took turns walking over to drop the ball inside. The loved it!

The second slide shows a small “cannon ball” set up on the table with the balls in one basin used to pick up a ball before dropping it in the tube and the other basin holds the balls that fell through. We also used bean bags.
