Sectioned box with “sensory insertions”
The photo below shows a client pushing plastic packaging into the slots. These are made of fairly strong, clear plastic. I filled each with sensory materials such as bells, marbles, pennies and securely closed with duct tape. This activity also teaches the cognitive concept known as “one to one correspondence”.
