I came across a post asking for ideas on how to use old spice jars. I immediately thought of incorporating them into any peg board or other placement task used during occupational therapy. Young children will also enjoy developing bilateral coordination skills as they unscrew/screw the cover back on and place them inside tube or boards such as shown in the following posts….
Students or clients may also enjoy matching the spice jars to photos, lining them up in alphabetical order and attempting to name the spice with eyes closed….
