Switches may be activated by simply pressing it. I attached the switch to the bottle handle so that a client , perhaps with hemiplegia may comfortably grasp the handle with one hand while isolating the pointer finger to press the switch with the other hand.
Push button switches may also be activated when objects such as pegs are pressed down on top .
